Challenge - 12 Things in 12 months

Challenge - 12 Things in 12 months

The intention for this challenge is to stretch your skills to a diverse range of items and documentation.

Please document all research and each step of the processes (to SCA A&S standard, there are many documents pertaining to this) you may ask for help from others but include their work/assistance in your documentation. (its not cheating to ask for help, its part of being in the SCA)

  1. Authorise in Rapier or heavy or as a marshal for either.
  2. A piece of largess for your barony
  3. An item of clothing
  4. An accessory
  5. An item for the other challenger
  6. A piece of furniture
  7. Cast something
  8. Write a class and present it at a large event
  9. Learn a period craft of skill and write about it
  10. Build a heraldic shield
  11. Make an item to go on feet
  12. Write a song, poem, childrens class or game (in period style) - Set by Mistress Katherine
If you have already done the above task before make it more complex e.g. instead of a simple stool make a chair or a table or a chest, decorate it or make it in true period fashion with handtools and self harvested and split wood, stretch your skills!

Penalty: for each item missed you must write an article for cockatrice within the next 6 months following the event of the challenge. - Set by Baroness Ginevra of Southron gaard

All items must be presented at a joint event with the challenger (in this case Canterbury faire 2017) on the A&S table.

Note: there is no "win" prize the fact you have made 12 items in 12 months is real win in any regard.
